Applicants seeking readmission to Western or to an Affiliated University College (Brescia, Huron or King's) following withdrawal for unsatisfactory academic standing should contact the Undergraduate Admissions Office well in advance of the deadline. You must apply by the appropriate deadline in order to be considered for admission.
In addition to a regular application through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC), you must also complete the Reconsideration of Admission form.
Apply as soon as possible. Do not wait for the full 12 months you were required to suspend your studies at Western to pass before applying. We advise Individuals seeking readmission to apply well before the deadline, ideally no later than the end of February, as program spaces may fill.
If granted readmission, you may register for a session that commences no earlier than one calendar year (12 months) from the time of withdrawal.
Please Note: Readmission is not guaranteed.
Appealing an Admission Decision
Current applicants who wish to appeal their admission decision on the basis of compassionate grounds through the disclosure of illness, death in the family, disability or other circumstances beyond their control must submit a Reconsideration of Admission form to the Undergraduate Admissions Office . This form must be accompanied by appropriate documentation to substantiate the appeal and must be presented within seven days of receiving an admission decision.
