How to Apply as a Part-Time Student

Students who wish to study on a part-time basis will be enrolled in 3.0 or fewer courses between September and April.  There are several points of entry for part-time studies including: September (Fall/Winter), May (Intersession, Summer Evening, Spring/Summer) and July (Summer Day). 

If you are interested in part-time studies, complete the Part-Time application. 

If you wish to start part-time in the spring/summer but study on a full-time basis in the fall /winter, please fill out the full-time OUAC application and indicate Summer as your expected enrolment date instead of Fall.

Application Deadlines

March 1, 2017 - Intersession, Summer Evening, Summer Distance Studies

May 1, 2017 - Summer Day

July 1, 2017 - Fall/Winter Distance Studies and Part-time on campus courses

Part-Time Application Fee
All applicants - $58.00 (CAD)

Postsecondary Evaluation Fee
A single non-refundable evaluation fee of $87.50 (CAD) is required of all applicants with a postsecondary background (excluding CEGEP applicants) who apply to Western.

We encourage prospective students to apply and submit required documents as soon as possible and well before the application deadlines.

Please follow the instructions for submission of your documents as indicated in the acknowledgement letter that we will send to you upon receipt of your application.
