Career planning takes careful self-reflection and research. At Western, we have several career counsellors available to help your student explore their career options. Counsellors will encourage your student to get involved with volunteer and leadership opportunities while actively seeking practical experiences to help your student determine what kind of work best fits their needs and aspirations.

Western's Propel Entrepreneurship Centre helps students navigate their entrepreneurial journey from conceptualization to commercialization. As Western’s on-campus resource for entrepreneurs, Propel equips start-ups with the resources, skills, space and network they need to succeed. Services include co-working space, mentorship, seed funding, Propel Summer Incubator program (PSI), retail opportunities, workshops and training, advocacy and promotion, pitch competitions and other events.
