Affilated University Colleges
Western has three Affiliated University Colleges. Each
University College has its own campus located just
steps away from Western’s Main Campus. Students
attending Brescia, Huron or King’s University Colleges
have access Main Campus
services (as well as those on their own campus) and
graduate with a degree from The University of Western Ontario.
While the majority of courses are taken at the student’s
home campus, they also have the opportunity to take
courses on all four campuses throughout their degree.
Brescia, Huron and King’s are proud to offer students
the opportunities of Western with the advantages of a vibrant, smaller campus setting.

Brescia University College
Founded in 1919, Brescia is Canada’s only university level
women’s college. With a population of approximately 1,000,
Brescia's approach to education is student-centered and personalized. Brescia offers small class sizes, interactive teaching, personal attention from faculty and engaging leadership opportunities. Brescia has a strong sense of community, combining its Catholic heritage with a diversity that welcomes students of all backgrounds.
Huron University College
Huron University College is the founding institution
of The University of Western Ontario. A small student
population of almost 1,300 students helps Huron maintain its distinct identity, giving students the advantage of small classes, personal attention and a friendly community. Located directly across the street from Western's University Community Centre, the hub of Western's Main Campus, Huron offers students quick access to all of Western's facilities including D. B. Weldon Library and Campus Recreation.
King’s University College
King's University College is a Catholic educational institution affiliated with The University of Western Ontario. With approximately 3,200 Canadian and 270 international students King's is committed to the ongoing creation of a vital academic community animated by a Christian love of learning and the pursuit of truth. The College strives to foster an environment based on open inquiry, Christian values and service to the larger community.
Founded in 1954, the College provides degree programs in the Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Social Work, as well as a Master's degree in Social Work. It is renowned as a centre of teaching excellence positioned in the top rank of institutions of higher learning in Canada for the quality of its teaching faculty. Small classes, intensive student/faculty interaction, quality programs, comprehensive student services and a sense of community create an excellent environment for students.
