Western Scholars

High achieving students entering first-year can participate in Western’s “honors society” known as Western Scholars. As a Western Scholar, you can participate in service learning initiatives throughout the University and London community, special events and extra curricular activities throughout the year. You will have excellent opportunities to connect with professors and social and cultural leaders by being part of this society.

To be eligible, you must be entering Western as a fulltime student with a final high school admission average of at least 90 per cent. To retain the Western Scholars designation, you must achieve a sessional average at Western of at least 80 per cent with no mark less than 65 per cent with a full course load. This program is open to students in all undergraduate programs.
