Admission Requirements

If you are graduating with high standing (B) from an accredited secondary school in the United States, you are eligible to apply to first year at Western. A minimum combined score of 1100 on the Critical Reading and Math sections of the SAT Reasoning Test and a minimum GPA of 3.0 on four academic Grade 12 subjects (4.0 full courses) are required for admission consideration. Where SAT scores are not available, Western will consider ACT scores in lieu of SAT scores.

If you are registered in Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and if you achieve a minimum score of 4 out of 5 on your final AP exams, you may be considered for transfer credit to a maximum of two full credits as approved by the appropriate faculty.
