PARKING
Complimentary parking is available for the day. Be aware that there are some parking lots on campus that will require payment. We do not advise that you use these lots, as there is plenty of complimentary parking available. Here is a parking map for your convenience.

Please join us on any of the following tours. No additional sign-up is required. All have departures throughout the day at the times and locations detailed below.


CAMPUS BUS TOURS
9:00am to 4:00pm

Various Campus Bus Tour Stops


If you are interested in seeing our campus from corner to corner, we recommend that you join us for a guided bus tour! Buses will be leaving regularly from designated stops around the campus and provide you with an opportunity to become acquainted with Western's surroundings. All buses are staffed by a Campus Tour Guide who is prepared to discuss specific faculty buildings, areas of research, on- and off-campus housing, recreation and athletic facilities, the City of London and more!

You may choose to stay on the bus for a complete tour, lasting approximately 45 minutes, or you can hop on and off the bus at your leisure and visit faculty buildings, the University Community Centre or any of the residences on our route that are open for the day. If you chose to be dropped off the bus anywhere along the route, another bus will be around shortly to pick you up again. Buses can also drop you off at your parking lot at the end of your day.



CAMPUS WALKING TOURS

9:00am to 3:00pm

Atrium, University Community Centre


Allow one of our knowledgeable student guides to take you on a walking tour of campus! Get a feeling of what life is really like as a Western Student while taking in the campus’s beautiful landscape and buildings. Tours will be departing from the Campus Tour Booth in the University Community Centre Atrium on the hour and the half hour. Each tour will last approximately 30-45 minutes.



RESIDENCE TOURS

9:00am to 4:00pm

Lobby, Six First-year Residences

Western has eight residences available to incoming first-year students. We have opened six of these residences for you to tour: Delaware Hall, Elgin Hall, Essex Hall, London Hall, Perth Hall, and Saugeen-Maitland Hall. Our residents look forward to showing you around their residence homes. These tours will give you a chance to learn about the facilities and support staff, and the various programs that exist in each community. You will be able to see the student bedrooms, dining halls and washroom facilities for yourself. A residence tour will last approximately 20 minutes. For additional information, please note the Housing information session located in the ‘Special Presentations’ section of these webpage’s.

 

WESTERN STUDENT RECREATION CENTRE TOURS

9:00am to 4:00pm

Lobby, Western Student Recreation Centre

The Western Student Recreation Centre is home to Campus Recreation. Friendly and knowledgeable student staff are eager to provide you with tours of this amazing facility, with close to 160,000 square feet of space over four floors. Tours will last approximately 30 minutes and give you a chance to learn about the facilities, programs, and services that Campus Recreation operates in the centre.
