Taking a guided tour of our beautiful campus will last approximately two hours. If you also wish to visit our residences, an additional hour will be required. When possible, campus tours are tailored to the academic interests of the participants.
We do not conduct campus tours specific to the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Law or Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry. We are, however, more than happy to give you information about these programs while on tour.
It is very easy to reserve your tour space online (register for a tour link above), but if it is less than 4 business days before the date of your intended visit you will have to contact us directly to complete a reservation.
You can contact the Undergraduate Recruitment Office by email at email@example.com or via telephone through the Student Central Helpline at 519-661-2100 (staffed Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
As a courtesy to our campus tour guide student staff taking time out of their busy schedules, please inform us as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend a previously booked tour.
Please note the following:
All tours require advanced registration and are limited in size. You are encouraged to book early before they become full.
These are outdoor walking tours so please wear comfortable footwear and dress accordingly.
Only the tour dates and times with spaces available will be provided as online self-booking options. If it is less than 4 business days before you wish to visit, you must contact the Student Central Helpline via telephone (519-661-2100) or email Undergraduate Recruitment (firstname.lastname@example.org) so that we can make the tour reservation for you. Additions to a specific tour time can only be made if there are still spaces available as all tours are limited in size and some tour dates/times will fill to capacity.

Fall / Winter Saturday Tours
Special Saturday tours are offered on a limited basis during the academic year. All campus tour guides are current students so we are not able to offer every Saturday as an option because of their studies.
It is important to note that these special Saturday tours will be offered at 11:30am and are booked as campus only (Note: there will be access to one hybrid-style residence for these tours - Ontario Hall). As well, not all buildings are open and all support offices like Admissions, Housing, etc. are closed on a weekend.
As with all tours, there will be a limited number of spaces available so you are encouraged to book early before they become full.
Please remember when booking for a fall/winter Saturday tour that you have to select the appropriate tour type (campus only) to access these dates.
Special Fall/Winter Saturday 11:30AM tour options are as follows:
Our 2015 Fall Preview Day will be on Sunday, November 15.
Information and online registration
Once registering for the Fall Preview Day open house you will receive a detailed confirmation message and there is nothing else that you have to sign-up for in advance.
After reviewing the event web-pages, please contact email@example.com or Student Central (519-661-2100) if you have any questions.
Our 2016 March Break Open House will be on Saturday, March 12. Early registration for the 2016 event will open in December 2015.
Complimentary parking passes will be provided to tour participants on the day of your scheduled tour if spaces are available. Please park in a visitor designated attended lot. You may be asked to pay a cash deposit ($12.00). Parking passes will be distributed at the start of your tour. You will be refunded your parking deposit when you leave the lot. We apologize, but we will be unable to refund your parking charges at campus meters or non-attended lots. For more information about parking on campus, please visit http://www.uwo.ca/parking/find/visitor/index.html.
For most campus tours, we suggest that you park in the Alumni/Thompson or the Weldon visitor lots which are closest to the Cronyn Observatory (where the tours start from). If no parking spaces are available in these lots, the attendant can suggest alternate coin entry and/or pay & display options.
For visitors who require additional assistance or barrier free access, please contact James Oake directly at 519-661-2111, ext. 85675 or firstname.lastname@example.org at the time of booking so that we may make any necessary arrangements in advance of your visit.
