What is a study permit?
A study permit is a document that authorizes you to study in Canada. As an international student, you must have a study permit to attend Western for a program of six months or more.
How to apply
Apply for a study permit from Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC) online or by paper.
When to apply
Typically, we encourage you to apply as soon as you receive an offer of admission. If you require a Provincial Attestation Letter (PAL) with your study permit application, you will need to accept your offer first.
