Will Wang’s interest in food insecurity began at the age of eight. He parlayed this interest into action as a student at Ivey Business School and a participant in the Western Accelerator program, where he partnered with friend and classmate Dan Nejman to create Terra Optima Labs—a startup that is converting food waste into quality soil to promote local and sustainable food production.
As a student, Will combined his passion for entrepreneurship, sustainability and food production to co-develop practical and sustainable food-growing techniques—taking advantage of Ivey’s emphasis on hands-on innovation and collaboration.
