Western University is located on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak and Chonnonton peoples, on lands connected with the London Township and Sombra Treaties of 1796 and the Dish with One Spoon Covenant Wampum. This land continues to be home to diverse Indigenous Peoples (First Nations, Métis and Inuit) whom we recognize as contemporary stewards of the land and vital contributors of our society.

MORE ON ADMISSION SCHOLARSHIPS
We honour the Jay Treaty 1794 by offering domestic tuition rates to Native American students from the United States.
We value Indigenous voices in our Western community. So, we created an admission pathway to help more Indigenous students apply.
You can choose to apply through this pathway, which goes alongside your Ontario Universities’ Application Centre (OUAC) application.
Your experience at Western won’t happen only in a lecture hall. Your university years are about learning inside and outside of the classroom.
You’ll have opportunities to meet people, get involved and challenge yourself. Explore the experiences and resources designed specifically for you.
