How Do I Prepare?

✔️	Pay your residence prepayment and fill in your Residence Placement Questionnaire (or start searching for off-campus housing)
✔️	Sign up for Western Launch: Faculty Fridays and Western Launch: Overnight Experience
✔️	Register for courses
✔️	Send us your final documents (check your Choose Western Offer Portal for your deadline)
✔️	🌍 International Students: Begin planning your move to Canada.

✔️	Review your tuition fee statement on your Student Center and pay your fees
✔️	Find out your residence building assignment (you'll get an email)
✔️	Upload your Western ONECard photo and government ID
✔️	Complete your Gender-Based and Sexual Violence Prevention Education Training
✔️	🌎 International Students: Attend the SmartStart: Writing for International Students

✔️	Browse The Bookstore and buy your books using your personalized textbook list
✔️	Complete your Cyber Safety Awareness online training
✔️	Complete your Building Inclusivity Through Anti Racism training
✔️	Get academically prepared with Western Launch: SmartStart
✔️	Download Alert WesternU, Western’s emergency mass notification system, to receive instant notifications in the event of a campus emergency

Bus pass, library card, exam ID, meal plan card, time machine... OK, not that last one, but this card is powerful! It proves you’re a student for anyone who’s asking (like the grocery store offering discounts for students).
