Check Your Conditions
Look for the Admission Condition tiles in your Choose Western portal.

In most cases, the offer of admission you received was conditional.

This means there are certain requirements you have to meet so you can start at Western. It is your responsibility to make sure you meet all conditions or you may lose your offer!

What Are Your Admission Conditions?

Your admission conditions appear on your offer letter and in your Choose Western portal (look for a yellow tile called Admission Conditions).

Each condition will have specific instructions. For example, we may ask you for official final documents (like your secondary school transcript) and give you instructions on how to send it to us.

How Do You Know You've Met Your Conditions?

Ontario High School (Group A)

No news is good news! If we don't contact you, you've met your conditions.

All Other Applicants (Group B)

You'll find the documents we need on the "Admission Conditions" section of your Student Center. When we receive the required official document, the status will update. In your Choose Western Offer Portal, you'll also see a green check mark in your Admission Conditions tile.

Once we've checked your documents, we'll reach out if you didn't meet your conditions. If you don't hear from us, you're good to go!

Submitting Final Documents

This is a general outline of how you can submit your documents. We'll give you specific instructions with your admission condition.

Your school will update your final grades on the OUAC. Be sure to check all your grades appear on your OUAC account.

Your guidance counsellor will help you submit your documents.

Ask your school to send transcripts directly to Western. The transcripts must be sent from the school to be considered official. If you are graduating with your degree or diploma be sure this is included on your transcript.

Studied in Ontario?

Use the Transcript Request section of the application to have your transcripts submitted electronically.

Studied outside of Ontario?

Your school can send your transcripts by email to welcome@uwo.ca or by mail to

We may ask for you to submit a WES International Credential Evaluation, we’re looking for a "WES Document-by-Document ICAP" report type.

We may also ask for you to submit documents through CSSD credential verification.

Have your school send all other reports through a verified transcript submission or mailed to the Undergraduate Admissions Office:
