You’ll need:
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma
- A minimum of six grade 12 U and/or M level courses
- English (ENG4U)
- Requirements specific to your program
- At least four grade 11 U and/or M level courses
- English proficiency requirements (if English isn’t your first language)

Studying the International Baccalaureate?
Though you could get transfer credit for your IB courses, we’ll assess you for admission based on your OSSD. Your guidance office will convert your predicted and final IB scores into Ontario high school grades. They’ll submit those converted grades through the OUAC.

After applying to Western, you'll typically hear back by May. We give offers in rounds from December to May and will review your application in every single round.
