Every program has specific course and supplemental requirements.
- Required high school courses: You need these for admission to the program.
- Recommended high school courses: You don’t need these to be admitted, but you might need them to take courses for your program. We recommend you take them to help you be successful in your first year, and to be able to take the courses you need.
- Supplemental requirements: These are additional forms, portfolios or auditions. They help us get to know you better.

Supplemental Requirements
- You must complete the Casper test
- Register and take the test as soon as possible. It can take three weeks for Western to get your results, and you can't receive an offer of admission without them.

Transfer students won't be admitted directly to an upper year of Foods and Nutrition. Your offer of admission will be to the Faculty of Health Sciences. Upon admission, ask an Academic Counsellor in the Faculty of Health Sciences about becoming eligible to enter the Foods and Nutrition program.

- Interested in the BSc? We strongly recommend Grade 12 Science courses like Chemistry, Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Math or Physics.
- Grade 12 Chemistry is required for first-year Chemistry courses.

- Not studying Grade 12 Physics? That's okay! There's a first-year Physics course you can take at Western. If you do have the chance to take Physics in your high school senior year, we recommend it to help you with course selection.

Western-Fanshawe Collaborative BScN
You must have a minimum overall average of 70% (approx. a "B-" or 2.7 GPA) in the last 10 full courses you completed at university. If courses are repeated within the last 10.0 credits you completed, we'll use both attempts in your admission average.
