Get ready for an exciting, evolving profession. At Western, you’re going to know your classmates by name. You’re supported and you'll build your community with a small-group program in first year. In upper years, you can choose a curricular stream tailored to the type of lawyer you want to be.
Western Law is typically a three-year program. You’ll need to complete at least three years (although most students complete four) of an undergraduate degree before you start your Law degree. And no, it doesn’t have to be a “pre-law” program. You’re encouraged to study anything you want before applying to Law! We welcome students with diverse program backgrounds. You’ll bring different perspectives and make the discussion richer.
