Submitting Final Grades
We use unofficial grades to make an admission decision. You’ll need to send us your final transcript or exam results before you start at Western.
Now we need your grades so we can evaluate your application.
We'll ask you for exactly what we need on your Student Center To Do List.
We'll ask for any grades that you have already received (final), any grades in your current courses (mid-year or in-progress) or predicted results.
We can’t assess your application until we have everything. We'll ask you to resubmit if you don't send us what we asked for, or if you send it in a different way than what we requested. To avoid delays, make sure you follow the instructions on your Student Center!
We will get your grades from your OUAC application. All you have to do is make sure your school has uploaded all of your mid-year and final grades correctly.
Also make sure your school has added all the courses you will be taking, even if you don't have grades in them yet.
You don't need to send us your grades yourself, unless we specifically ask you to do so on your To Do List.
We’ll ask you to complete your Self-Reported Grades Form. This is an online form that you complete yourself – we'll include the link on your To Do List after you apply.
International Baccalaureate Students: Submit the Predicted IB Grades Form. If you don't have access to your predicted grades, ask your school counsellor to submit the form.
We’ll ask for your grades on your Student Center. Upload your grades following the instructions we give you.
For some curricula, we'll ask for a predicted grades form on your Student Center To Do List. This is an online form you complete yourself. If you don’t have access to your predicted grades, ask your school counsellor to submit the form.
If you completed Grade 10 equivalent exams like GCSE, CSEC or India SX, we will ask for your exam results on your Student Center To Do List. You'll need to upload official certificates to Student Center.
Check your To Do List after you apply for your specific instructions.
We’ll accept unofficial transcripts if you don’t have an official one, but they must include your name and the name of your school. We won't accept screenshots of personal portals.
Transcripts must include your most recent grades from the current school year, if you're still studying.
Upload your transcript on your Student Center. There will be an Upload button next to every transcript we request.
If you study or have studied in Ontario, use the Transcript Request section of the OUAC application to have your transcript submitted electronically.
We’ll ask for your documents on your Student Center. Upload your documents following the instructions we give you.
