What about Ivey AEO?
Ivey AEO is not a separate program choice on the OUAC application. You have to apply to other programs or faculties and check the Ivey AEO box. Remember, you also have to submit a separate Ivey AEO application.
At Western, you apply to our faculties rather than directly to the program you want to study. There are a few programs that you enter directly (we call them "direct-entry programs") that are the exception to this rule.
If you want to apply to more than one program within a faculty, you only need to add the faculty once to your OUAC application.
You do not need to list two programs within the same faculty separately, unless it is a direct-entry program with a different OUAC code.
The general rule of thumb is: If the OUAC code is the same for two programs, then you only need to add one of those choices to your application. Don't apply to the same code more than once.

Both Computer Science and Physics are in the Faculty of Science. Computer Science and Physics have the same OUAC Code ES. So, you need to add the Faculty of Science (OUAC Code ES) only once to the OUAC application.
Add one choice:
Though Kinesiology is technically in the Faculty of Health Sciences, it is a direct-entry program! Kinesiology has OUAC Code EP and Health Sciences has OUAC Code EW. So, you would need to add these two choices to your OUAC application.
Add two choices:
These are programs in two separate faculties. Psychology is in the Faculty of Social Science (OUAC Code EO) and MIT is in the Faculty of Information & Media Studies (OUAC Code EI). So, you would need to add two choices to your OUAC application.
Add two choices:
Economics and Political Science are programs in the Faculty of Social Science and have the same OUAC Code EO. DAN Management & Organizational Studies (MOS) is a direct-entry program with a different OUAC Code ED. So, you would need to add two choices to your OUAC application.
Add two choices:
Western doesn't make alternate offers. We will only consider you for choices you add to your OUAC application.
If you want us to consider you for any additional faculties or programs than the ones you originally applied to, you will have to amend your OUAC application and add the new program or faculty choices.
Make sure you know all of your options
Not for admissions. We do not take OUAC rank into consideration when evaluating your application.
However, if you have more than one choice at Western, we may only send you program information or event invitations about your highest choice.
When you apply to a faculty on OUAC, you can indicate if you are interested in a particular subject area. We use this to help plan classroom capacity and to send you specific information about that program. If you get an offer to the faculty, it does not mean you are admitted to that program—that will happen later when you enter into your second year.
